The Loft is opening with a grand launch party on Friday, September 9, kicking off their first weekend of partying in the venue. The Loft is replacing Colors, a popular gay basildon in Essex, and having a complete rebrand to become The Loft. Also part of the major refurbishment is the Beehive Pub which will also gay a facelift, reopening on September 7.

The Beehive will continue to serve classic pub favourites for breakfast, lunch and dinner - from tasty burgers, chicken wings, small plate selections to Sunday lunch. Behind the bar they're serving a range of beers, ciders, cocktails and gins, plus plenty of low and no alcohol options and hot drinks.

What The Loft will look like is still being kept under wraps at this stage, but you can book a bar for the club's launch party, or even get ahead and start thinking about Christmas events.
