This place is open and operating as usual which seems to be a rarity in Northern WI. Nice dive bar, pool table in the back, darts and some other games in the main room. Bartender wasn't very talkative. Like patsy's I have no idea why bars in washburn make sitting at the bar so uncomfortable. These bars were built as standing bars, but if you want to sit at the bar, there's no footrest and you have to spread eagle just to be able to rest your arms on the bar.

We went here the last time we were in Washburn and tried it again this past weekend thinking it would be different. The same guy was bartending, a shorter guy with a mustache, glasses, and a bears hat. We came in with 6 guys total. He looked annoyed the minute we walked in it was a Friday night mind you.

He didn't ask us what we wanted to drink, he just walked over to the end of the bar and waited. From the minute he started the first drink until he gave us our change, he never once said a word to us or made eye contact with us.
